# Alaska tipped minimum wage 2026

Alaska does not allow a tip credit: tipped employees get the full $14.00 minimum wage in cash, with tips on top.

## 2027

On July 1, 2027, Alaska's minimum wage rises to $15.00 an hour, paid in full to tipped workers too (no tip credit). Alaska stays at $14.00 until June 30, 2027; the $15.00 step comes from Ballot Measure 1 (2024), and inflation adjustments start in 2028.
